Littledown Harriers are proud to offer a free Beginners Section on Tuesdays* which helps non-runners, or runners returning from injury, go from Couch to 5k. And then if you want to, the chance to go from 5K to 10K (still for free). Throughout the year we have 4 x 10 to 12 week schedules which help you build up to that target. To guide you, we have a team of friendly, supportive and experienced coaches to help you every step of the way at your pace.
*Beginners sessions run at certain points through the year, to check if there is a beginners session taking place on a specific day, have a look at the training schedule HERE and look in the light green box on Tuesdays, or email us via our contact form and we will let you know.
If you are already capable of running for an hour and can cover around 8K (5 miles) then there is no need to start with beginners, you can come along to the main Club sessions. If this is you, take a look at the main Club training schedule HERE
Come down and join us at 7pm on Tuesday or Thursday (however there are no specific beginners sessions on a Thursday) at the far end of the downstairs corridor just past the swimming pool changing rooms.
Minimum age to run with us (including beginners) is 16 years.
