Report: The 2nd DRRL and 1st CC race of the year combined a biting frosty with icy, slippy roads. This race has numerous hills but these are balanced by a good finish with a long downhill stretch to the tape. As news of Jim Kerr’s motorbike accident reached Harrier’s our thought’s moved to him for a speedy recovery - 27 Harrier’s finished.

Report: The 2nd CC race of the year and a DRRL is guaranteed to get Harrier’s out and this was no exception - 34 Harrier’s finished.

Men’s Report: 3rd Dorset Road race of the year, 10 undulating miles, 22 men in orange, and our 2nd Podium of the year! A fantastic turn out for the Lytchett 10, with all the men and ladies together we had 36 Harriers in the field (over 10% of the entrants - I make that an Ocean of Orange).  Pick of the men - Adrian Bonner shaking off his recent injuries to finish in 61 mins, Paul Millard 65 mins. I suspect with a PB, Jim Cowdroy a definite PB 69 mins, Giles right behind him (PB?), and a sharp sprint finish from Laurence was also noted.   Overall well done to all the chaps, that’s another 3rd place for the team (already more podiums than last year).

Next DRRL race is The Rotary Quarter Saturday 23rd April (also another Club Championship), a chance to race pretty much on home turf along the Boscombe seafront, or to earn those Easter eggs the next day, or to have a Harriers reunion after the spring marathons ... Go on you know you want to  :)   It will be great to see as many as possible there and continue with the success we've had so far.
Cheers,
                                                             Ben R - Men’s Captain

Women’s Report: The Harriers were out in force on Sunday and as you can see got well and truly Tangoed! It was definitely worth it for the hats, and fabulous cakes... Thanks Lychett Manor Striders. 14 Ladies in all, perfect conditions, Lots of PB’s going on amongst the girls , keeping it strong and even the ones pushing through with lingering injuries did great,  I was just pleased to enjoy the run reasonably pain free,  had a lovely time with my tunes on!                                                                                                Sarah H - Women‘s Captain
