• 12 pre-selected races of varying distances, terrains and start times

• All fully paid up members qualify (agreed by membership secretary) No membership no points! 

• Race to be entered as Littledown Harriers. Club vest to be worn

• The scoring system in each nominated race is as follows:
  -  1st (Littledown Harrier) male and female … 50 points
  -  2nd male and female…                                   49 points
  -  3rd male and female…                                    48 points
  -  4th male and female…                                     47 points (cont).

• All Littledown Harrier finishers will receive points

• Age on 31^st December (of Championship year) determines category for entire year

• Any official marathon (in Championship calendar year)  can replace one of the Championship races, proof of time required

• To qualify for a final position, runners will have to complete at least 6 championship races

• Categories for male and female runners, in 5 year age bands ( under 40, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 over)

• Separate prizes for 1^st 2^nd 3^rd place male and female runners

• Positions/times as official race organiser’s results. Chip times if available

• Any Littledown Harrier eligible will appear in Championship League

• Runners must complete 6 races for final count. Best 6 points to score.

• The top 3 runners can not also win an age category prize

• 2nd claim runners will be included; if they have entered as Littledown Harriers and wear a club vest and no other 1st claim club members are running.

•  In the event of a tie - the best time in the last club championship race that both runners finish will be used as decider; if still tied, prize shared

•  If any Championship Race cancelled or not suitable a new race will be substituted – time permitting

Any Marathon between January 1st and December 31st 2010 (can replace any 1 of the above races)

A few different races with a tough start to the year with a few 10 milers and a 20 miler in the first 3 months.  Dates may change, check websites.

Mixture of races:

 20m x1, ½ marathon x2, 10m x4, 10k x3, 5m x1, 5k x1, off road x1(14m) plus any marathon.

Almost one race every month.

Championship starts earlier than last year ending with the Wimborne 10m and Winter Series 5K
