Firstly, apologies for the brief monthly update and any missing
results.
Welcome to Steve Shuck into the role of Acting Club Secretary and a
big thank you to Gary Kirkby for all his hard work and dedication to
the club.
The final weeks of 2010 have seen the Club championship decided, again
going to the last race, the Wimborne 10m.
Well done to all Harriers who entered any of the DRRL and CC races in
2010.
We had fantastic numbers running almost every race, frequently being
the largest and most visible Club attendance.
On 17th December over 75 Harriers’ enjoying the seasonal
annual Christmas meal and dancing into the early hours (Thanks for
your hard work Mikey) and with a growing and active
membership we finish 2010 with an overwhelmingly positive spirit in
the club.

Report:
Some great performances from the team in the Christchurch 10km.
PB's for Gary Worsley 36:47, Wayne Walford-Jelks
37:14, Rob Angel 39:56 (congratulations on your 1st sub 40min), Jim
Cowdroy 40:44, and Ryan Ford 44:33 (1st sub 45min), also some very
sharp running from Mike Neal 44:18 (was that a PB too?). Also worth
mentioning Adam Basham and Peter Hellawell -although they didn't get
PB’s displayed some fantastic sprint finishes (and is both off my Xmas
card list now). Well done to all that ran and enjoy your well deserved
Xmas puds.

Report:
Well done all, 18 ladies in all… a lot to list! A beautiful morning,
perfect conditions and very enjoyable; whether it was a good run, a PB
or just a steady easy one. The first 3 ladies in kept it extremely
tight, keeping each other on their toes. Heather in first 44.03,
Alice
must have been right on her side in 44.05, and Kathy was extremely
pleased with her 44.09 time, well done all. Also well run Caroline,
Naomi, and Carmel with another amazing PB. Mandy, Lucy, Becky and Tammy
all getting fast times too, Sarah Ngugi achieved a PB. A great
atmosphere, and fab support again from those who didn’t run, thanks
everyone! All worth it for the soup, tea and the wonderful goodie bag!
